Bentley Helps With Valentine’s Day
Some of you might be wondering: “Whatever can I get the autofieldblogger for Valentine’s Day?” Well, maybe not that many of you.
Some of you might be wondering: “Whatever can I get the autofieldblogger for Valentine’s Day?”
Well, maybe not that many of you.
Still, if you are, we’d like to draw your attention to what the clever people at Bentley have come up with: One-of-a-kind zai for Bentley Supersport Skis.
That’s right: Bentley’s designers have worked with Swiss ski manufacturer zai to create a set of just 250 handmade sets of skis.
The skis are constructed with a composite material, Zaiira®, which had a carbon fiber outer layer, natural rubber in the center, carbon fabric and chrome steel in the torson part of the skis, and a long-carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic that brings it all together. The ski geometry is said to provide fast and smooth schussing with little required by the skier. Said zai founder Simon Jacomet: “The handling of zai Supersport is smooth and reposnsive, dynamic and lively. They are a world-first!”
There are also zai for Bentley ski poles (also an advanced composite construction) and leather-and-neoprene ski bags.
The skis will set you back a mere €6,800.
But a confession: The autofieldblogger doesn’t ski. So if you’re still stumped, we’d like you to just opt for this:
