Black Series AMG Mercedes for Black Friday
In honor of the fact that today in the United States it is “Black Friday,” we’re presenting the Black Series Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe. Yes, we know that car is painted red.
What makes it a “Black Series” vehicle is the fact that whereas the conventional C63 AMG Coupe’s V8 produces 451 hp @ 6,500 rpm and 443 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm, the Black Series produces 510 hp @ 6,800 rpm and 457 lb-ft of torque @ 5,000 rpm.
0 to 60 mph: 4.2 seconds.
To do this, they’ve deployed forged pistons, a modified engine control unit, and lighter crankshaft and con rods.
Additional modifications to the Black Series include a wider front track and rear fenders approximately two inches wider to accommodate the wider rear track. There is a body color lip spoiler and a Black Series logo.
You can’t buy one of the limited-production Black Series Mercedes C63 AMG Coupes on Black Friday, as pricing will be announced in mid-December.
