Things certainly look good for the classic rivals, Ford and Chevy. And, yes, Toyota is predicted to go down by 28.34%. Well, at least it isn’t as bad as HUMMER, which is estimated to plummet by 85.41%.

A couple points about the numbers: One is that TrueCar is predicting an overall increase in industry sales by almost 8% month-over-month and 9% year-over-year. Which means that things are moving in the right direction.

Second, those numbers for Ford and Chevy are predicated, in part, “because of the high volume of fleet and rental sales (30% or higher).”

Still, a sale’s a sale, right?
