Fisker Automotive has announced that it is going to be hiring people for the former GM assembly plant that it purchased in Wilmington, Delaware. The help wanted ads will drop this weekend.

They’re looking for 40 electro-mechanical techs to begin with, and then intend to hire 80 production employees starting in October.

The plant is to produce what is presently known as “Project Nina,” which is described as a “mid-size premium sedan” that has a range-extended electric powertrain (sort of like the Chevy Volt).

Presently, the Fisker Karma luxury sports car (also a range-extended EV) is produced by Valmet Automotive in Finland.
