Automotive lighting and electronics supplier Hella GmbH offers products for electrified powertrains ranging from stop-start “micro-hybrid” to all-electric systems.

“The market is here now and moving quickly,” says Steve Lietaert, president of the company’s U.S. operations. “We try to look at the whole spectrum and make sure we have products for all systems.”

One example: dual-voltage batteries that integrate 12- and 48-volt cells with the power control electronics to manage them, Lietaert notes.
