For motorsports enthusiasts, this weekend is an extraordinary one, with the Indianapolis 500, the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 and the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix all occurring on the 26th.

This means automotive technology from companies including Chevrolet, Honda, Ford, Toyota, Alfa Romeo, McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, and Renault all being tested to their limits.

The last-named in that list has come up with a rather interesting factoid regarding the Circuit de Monaco.

At 3.337 km in length, it is the shortest of the 21 tracks F1 cars race at.

And how long is 3.337 km?

According to Renault, that’s the length of 609 Renault R.S. 19s lined up.

(Although Renault is near the bottom of the 2019 Constructor standings at present, 205 points behind leader Mercedes, in 2018 Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo won the Monaco Grand Prix.)
