While we realize that the Stanley Cup was won with some serious late-game action by the Chicago Blackhawks a little over one week ago (on June 24), we found it amusing that earlier this week ANCO announced that it is “The Official Wiper Blade of the National Hockey League” for the 2013-14 season.
We’re not making that up.
“This partnership is the first of its kind within the wiper category and an ideal fit for the ANCO brand,” said Michael Proud, director of marketing, North America, Federal-Mogul (which owns ANCO).
So far as we know, Zambonis don’t use wiper blades.
