If you happen to be kicking it at the Dubai International Motor Show that runs December 16 to 20, you might want to head on over to the Kepler Motors stand to get a first-ever look at the MOTION.

For one thing, plans are to hand-craft just 50 of these vehicles, so chances are if you don’t catch it in Dubai. . . .

Kepler Motors is based in Costa Mesa, CA, and was established by Russ Wicks, who holds world speed records of over 200 mph on both land and water. Consequently, as you can well imagine, the MOTION is fast. Really fast.

This is a hybrid of another sort: It has a 550-hp modified Ford EcoBoost twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 and an independent 250-hp electric motor that drives the front wheels.. The all-wheel-drive system puts the car to 60 mph from a standstill in just about 2.5 seconds. Top speed: over 200 mph.

And in case you’re wondering” the brake rotor material is StopTech’s Continuous Carbon Ceramic.
