Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder says his administration is trying to attract and retain automotive-related jobs, in part by reducing red tape and streamlining government requirements.

He concedes that bringing a new auto assembly plant to Michigan will be difficult, but he sees a bright future in the state's continued dominance as an automotive technology center.
