No More Mr. Nice Guy?
Alice Cooper is a Detroiter. (Yikes!) Let that soak for a while.
Alice Cooper is a Detroiter.
Let that soak for a while.
When I was in high school in suburban Detroit, and “School’s Out for Summer” came blasting out of the car radio for the first time, it became quite the anthem for a bunch of high school seniors.
When, later, Alice moved to Scottsdale and took up golf. . . school hadn’t been “blown to pieces.” The whole concept of Alice Cooper was, for some of us.
So it came as a bit—but less—of a surprise to learn that Alice—via Alice Cooper Classic Cars (remember: he was born in Detroit)—has refurbished some classic Detroit iron—a GTO, not a golf club—that will be auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event in Scottsdale next week.
The car was restored with LoudMouth Golf, and consequently, not only has a trunk covered with the clothing line’s Cherry Bomb fabric, but will also be fitted with a signed John Daly tour bag.
“We can’t even think of a word that rhymes.”
