OESA Counsels Diligence about Sales
The North American auto industry should remain diligent about potential “trip wires” to continued growth, says Mike Jackson, executive director of strategy and research for the Original Equipment Suppliers Assn.
But even after nine years of growth, the industry remains healthy, Jackson says. OESA members forecast that car and light truck sales in the region will total 17.3 million units in 2018. They also believe the industry can break even if production drops to 15 million units.
