The auto industry is moving toward electrified powertrains quickly, but there are regional differences, says Eric Fedewa, senior manager of global market intelligence for Eaton’s Vehicle Group.

He says suppliers are focusing on a global shift to electric vehicles in spite of regional differences in timing. The biggest challenge, Fedewa says, is predicting the intersection of industry capacity and consumer demand for such vehicles.
