International Automotive Components Group LLC has named investor Natale Rea as its president and interim CEO, effective immediately.

Rea replaces Robert “Steve” Miller, who has led Luxembourg-based IAC as president and CEO for the past three years, who IAC says is retiring.

Rea has headed Rea Holding Inc. investment company for the past six years. He previously was president of supplier Rea International, which merged with Pilot Industries to form the automotive unit of Canada’s Martinrea International Inc.

Miller was the Chrysler Corp. treasurer who led the carmaker’s through near-bankruptcy during the Lee Iacocca era in the early 1980s, eventually becoming the company’s vice chairman. Miller also is past CEO and/or chairman of Delphi, Federal-Mogul, Waste Management and Bethlehem Steel.
